Freediving with us in Italy!
Freediving in Venice: all is about inward power, discipline and control. If you’ve always wanted to enter the underwater world of Apnea, staying as long as your breath allows, then freediving is for you. Taking the PADI or AIDA Freediver course is your first step toward discovering why freediving is becoming a popular way to explore beneath the waves.
To enroll in an AIDA or PADI Freediver course you must be at least respectively 16/15years old. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. Younger than 15? 12 year olds and older can enroll in the PADI Basic Freediver but we would suggest you the YOUTH AIDA programs. Contact us about that!
Here below you can check the all Apnea options with us in Venice, AIDA or PADI.
We listed them from the easy one to the hard one in terms of performance requirements. AIDA and PADI programs are also a bit different, especially the theory and some skill requirements. We can have a chat about all of that but remember that the most important thing is to have fun with safety, the “brand” does not matter! 😉
- AIDA 1
- PADI Freediver
- AIDA 2
- PADI Advanced Freediver
- AIDA 3
- PADI Master Freediver = AIDA 4
Normally we start with a pool session teaching you the basic of Duck Dive, Dynamic Apnea Fins Swimming, Belly Respiration and Static Breath Holding. After that, we will go to the Y-40 pool and/or in the open sea. The length of the apnea course and the days required depends on the course level.
If instead you’re interested in becoming a hold-breathing teacher, we can offer the PADI FREEDIVER INSTRUCTOR level. Contact us to get more info about that.
